First of all, Happy International Women's Day to all you ladies out there!
Just want to do a quick sharing of my thoughts on the items I got from Urban Decay's spring Friends & Family sale. A few things in my makeup box were running low or needed an upgrade, and as you know UD hosts FF sales twice a year, so it was the perfect chance to stock up.
As always I love how UD makes good quality vegan makeup brushes! I like this
Good Karma Powder Brush with its big and really fluffy brush head, and it is so so soft when sweeping across skin.
The
Lush Lash Mascara, also vegan, is said to be infused with growth conditioning serum. I have not yet used it often enough to tell if the serum works, but the mascara itself is easy to apply and does a good job lengthening lashes, no clumping and looks very natural.
The
Double Ended 24/7 Eye Pencil Set comes with a Grind House double barrel sharpener, and two double ended eye pencils in 4 different colors, including the basic browns, black, and a brand new navy blue color called Sabbath. I like using pencils for lining my eyes, and these apply really smoothly, and blend smudge nicely too!
Last but not least, the
De-Slick Mattifying Powder. I have combination skin type, especially during warm weather, I often have to carry oil blotting paper with me, since it's not cool to blind people with a shiny face. This powder is really lightweight, it has a very light lavender tint but applies on skin translucent, and comes with a cute applicator. The case is relatively compact, and fits in any evening clutch easily.
