Perfect Summer Bag by Gift Shop Brooklyn - An Etsy Shopping Experience

While searching for the perfect summer bag for my upcoming vacation, I came across this beautiful handmade piece by fellow Etsy seller Gift Shop Brooklyn.  The stunning sequin pattern had me at the first peek, and I was half in love with the bag and couldn't wait to order and receive it in the mail.  

Daisy Earrings. Great Gatsby Inspired Pearl Jewelry

I had watched the 1974 The Great Gatsby in my high school film class, and was fascinated by the costume, hair and makeup of the characters, especially of Daisy Buchanan.  As a fan of the roaring 20’s fashion, I was overjoyed when news about remake of the story came out, and I have been ever since!

I have not yet seen the movie, but from the trailer and posters, the movie seems very promising, as far as costumes and jewelries are concerned.  My favorite is the headpiece by Tiffany and Co worn by Daisy, just so ravishing and elegant.  I couldn't help but made these gorgeous earrings, using similar pearl tassel design,  featuring Swarovski crystal pearls and cubic zirconia dazzled posts.

Just sharing a recent discovery of mine - these stunning photos from the Spring 2013 bridal collection of Parisian designer Laure de Sagazan.  Love the French lace/pearl buttons/stain pleats decorated gowns and their elegant silhouettes!  The collection is mix of dreamy bohemian and sleek sophistication to its perfection.

Bride Provocateur - Inbal Dror Rome 2012 | Photo Heavy

I first came across Inbal Dror while randomly browsing the Internet.  Her gowns instantly attracted my attention and I was left amused with how sensual yet elegant each piece is.  Inbal Dror is an haute couture and wedding dress designer based in Ashdod Israel.  Her 2012 Rome collection is absolutely incredible with intricate and detailed trims, plunging low backs, and figure hugging silhouettes that sure to have your pulses racing. 

I hope you enjoy these photos from the collection, as they are wonderfully photographed and each shot is as stunning as the dresses themselves. 

New Items! Preparing for Wedding Season

As I Do season approaches, I have been busy preparing more bridal themed pieces for my shop.  As most of the items in my shop, due to my love for gold toned jewelries, my new items are also made using tarnish-free gold plated parts and findings.  I favor gold toned jewelries because they give a vintage, old world feeling and help with creating a softer warmer look.
