What is beauty? Perfectly styled hair, flawless makeup, photoshopped body? Is beauty skin deep or does beauty lie within?
Granted that beauty is not just skin deep, but let’s admit to feel beautiful is in our DNA, and we love to pretty up and present our best to the world. Beauty is defined to be qualities that please the intellect or moral sense. Beauty brings acceptance, but first remember to accept ourselves! I love the song Beautiful by Christina Aguilera, where it sings: you are beautiful no matter what they say, words can’t bring you down. No one has the right to judge whether another person is beautiful or not. We all have insecurities and run into difficult times, but the sun always shines next morning, and every day is a new beginning.
Even on days we are too busy to dress up and pretty our face with makeup, put a bright smile on and carry a happy spirit. Smile is the best and the cheapest beauty secret we need! Beauty both inside or outside brings us confidence, and in turn makes us more radiant. Beauty is a choice! Beauty is abstract, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, learn to love our uniqueness, use what we are given and embrace.
